This project is a hybrid between physical space and coded sound space.
In contrast to many other sound installations in which users' movements merely trigger ambient sounds or add to a composition, sound is used to construct actual boundaries within the field which can be felt by focused human perception (hearing and the feelings of friction associated with auditory information).
As one moves through the space, one's body is tracked and contextualized sound is experienced as real boundary conditions and spaces. A wall of dissonance, for example, might be present depending on how one circulates through the space.
Physical informs of coded boundaries as responsive code mutually creates new understandings of physical structure.
